You’re invited to an Interest Meeting for the Norwegian Care Team of Deborah Roberts. We will be meeting Sunday, January 26, 2020 on the campus of Calvary Albuquerque in the Hub building, room H3, from 2:00 to 3:00pm. We will talk about the purpose, the mission, and the different roles of a care team.
What is the purpose of a care team?
Simply put, a care team is a partnership of people who are on mission for God with a focus on one people group or nation. There is a missionary (or multiple missionaries) who “go” to share the good news, along with a group of people who stay, serving as senders. The effectiveness of those who go is contingent on those who serve as senders.
I believe God is calling me to be the missionary who goes and I believe it is to serve Norwegians. On Sunday, we will be looking at the mission field of Norway. Learning about Norwegians, their culture and the current religious state. We will also discuss the different roles for the group of people who are serving as senders. Normally a group contains multiple people in each role: Prayer, Moral, Logistics, Financial, Communication, and Reentry.
Let’s meet on the campus of Calvary Albuquerque located at 4001 Osuna Rd NE in Albuquerque at 2:00 pm and talk about advancing the Kingdom of God.
Please note Deborah Roberts does not represent Calvary Albuquerque.
